Mattress Firmer
What should I look for in a firm mattress?
I need to buy a mattress – no box spring needed. I’m looking for one that’s firm and I’m getting quality for the price. Any suggestions on brands or what I should be looking for?
Go to different mattress retailers and try out the beds. Lay on them as you would at night, for at least 10 to 15 minutes. Keep a small notebook record of each one. Everyone has a different body and comfort range, what is great for one person may not be for another.
A good mattress should last you about 10 years. It will not only effect how you sleep, but also how you feel during the day. It should not be a quick pick and buy. Take your time.
