Can a California king headboard/footboard be used with a standard king mattress?
We bought a new standard king mattress set with a metal frame but would like to purchase a used California king headboard and footboard
Your question is a complicated one. It depends on whether or not the headboard is a true Cal King Hbbd & Ftbd or if it fits Eastern King as well if both the answer is yes. If it is only Cal. King there are several answers depending on if it bolts, hooks in, etc. I would contact your local mattress store where they can ask you the details about your bed assuring a correct fit.
